things are looking up.
I got accepted into the Anusara Immersion at Yoga Kula, which means a) I will be committed to my practice the next year and b) I get to be in Berkeley one weekend a month
I am going to Tahoe next weekend to play in the snow with Joel. He generously invited me up so that I can get out of LA for the weekend.
I am going to Seattle the second week of March to work with Josh. This will hopefully lead to me living there next year.
I am trying to go to Brazil in April (yay!)
I went to a blissful yoga class yesterday at Still Yoga in Silver Lake and think I may have found a new yoga community
and I had dinner with Claire and Guergieve last night. This makes me very happy. I was sad because here I have this step sister who lives 20 minutes away and I have not seen her except when we are at family functions. So this is good. Bond with the family.
I was really down the last couple of weeks. Getting teary at every little thing. But I have started takign herbs and I think the exercise is finally kicking in. So things are gettign better.
"Everything has been figured out, except how to live," sneered the existentialist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre. That's not completely true, of course, which he might have discovered had he not closed his dogmatically cynical mind to the countless humans (many unknown to history) whose lives have been great works of art. Starting from these thoughts, Libra, you are hereby invited to regard the next 11 months as a time when you will make your own life a masterpiece -- a labor of love that is ingeniously imagined and lyrically wrought. Unseen forces and unexpected allies will come to your assistance if you do.
