growing up

My good friend Rachel is really the only person form high school that I still keep in touch with on a regular basis. I think it is mostly owing to her Mom living in Phoenix and her Dad in Berkeley so we can usually coordinate drinks or dinner or shopping at Toy R Us for very large stuffed animals for her niece over one of the holidays or during the summer. I used to keep in touch with Lena, but she had three kids and it became more and more difficult to talk ( you know how that goes) and so we have kind of lost touch. Anyway, Rachel and I are finally growing up :) and I'm a little worried we will lose touch. I am graduating soon and leaving Phoenix for JPL in Pasadena and Rachel ( I am SO proud) got a job as deputy political director for Clinton's campain. How cool is that? So she's off to New Hampshire and will be super busy at least unitl the Convention. She's been working on the Hill basically since she graduated form Boulder and this is really her dream to be on a campain so I am so so happy for her.
