I was given a ficus when I moved into a new house 6 years ago. I have managed not to kill it, but i've had ficus that are really finicky before: if you move them across the room they drop all their leaves. But this one actually got really big and when I went to repot it, it split in two! so now I have 2 ficus plants!
We have a pond in our back yard. In it there is a v. large pleco, two small plecos that I havn't seen since we put them in, 3 goldfish, a coy, and about a million mosquito fish. the mosquito fish keep multiplying faster than the gold fish can eat their babies and they totally have taken over the pond. Its a little scary when I go out to feed them and the whole surface ripples with them.
I have a cat, Sassy. She's been with me since I was sixteen. My pseudo boyfirend of the time gave her to me. I've gotten quite attached to her even though she often lives up to her name. Her most amusing trait is that when it storms she get freaked out and gets really low to the ground and c-r-e-e-p-s into the bathroom and hides behind the toilet until the storm has passed. It is really amusing to watch. Sassy was diagnosed with CRF last Christmas. I was really worried about her, but she's actually doing really well and doesn't act sick. She's on a special low protien diet and gets fluids injected twice a week.
We went on vacation for two weeks this summer. We had the Plant lady from B's work come and feed Sassy and the fish and take care of the plants. A really nice girl from the Vet came by to give Sassy here fluids. The fish and cat were fine when we got home, but almost all of out plants are dead. Go figure.
