Shake Rattle and Roll

Its been awhile since I've felt and earthquake: I've been living in AZ for the past 8 years and there just isn't much seismic activity there. But I'm home in Berkeley for Christmas and have felt 2 now and there was a third Thursday mornng just before I got in. Last nights was a 3.7 and this morning was a 3.5 both centered on the Hayward fault about 4 mile SE of here. Usually when I come up here I bring my hiking stuff so at least I have my leatherman and a headlamp, but I have nothing this time and I have no idea where my mom keeps the flashlights... I'm not too worried, but you never know really... It's actually kind of neat when the house starts shaking and it takes your brain a second ot register what is happening...oh yeah, an earthquake! I should get to a doorway... :)
