Robin Wilson of the Gin Blossoms played a few songs last night at Yucca's open mic. Then Scotty got up with him and they played a few GB songs. I miss the days of friday nights at Long Wongs drinking Amber Boch and eating tater tots listening to Robin aka the human jukebox belt out everything from Sam Cooke to Cheap Trick to backstreet Boys to graham parker. Those were good times. So I got a little nostalgic last night seeing him play. maybe a little teary eyed. maybe it was just that it was late and I'm getting old.
On that note a student called me "ma'am" today...
